just addes felt filter sock

I added a filter sock cause diamond govt was stirring up fine particles. It seems as if water is just bubbling out. And particles still there. Any suggestions

 

What do you mean just bubbling out? Over the top?

 

Where did you add the sock? Also is the water not going through the sock. More info is needed.

 

I added the sock on the overflow tube. It is flexible tube and the tube is pushed all the way in the sock. Yrah it kind of bubbles out

 

If it's bubbling out the top, there might be too much flow coming down. Or the sock is already plugged. If bubbles are coming out the side, you may not have gotten a small enough micron filter maybe? I use 200 micron.

It is a 200 Micron sock. And was bubbling since day one

 

Also do not bury the hose in the sock

 

I will try to do that then update status

 

Ok I made the adjustment and the bubbling stopped and can see filtered water now exiting the sock
