Now I'm 1 of those plan it out poeple. I was given a nice BTA when my tank was 6 months. Than got my clowns a month latter, allowing the BTA to settle in. I read and saw pic, of a RBTA that had been beaten to death by some clowns that were to big. I've heard it can be an abusive relationship. My ? is can it be healthy 1 to?
My bta while healthy before, looks happy as a bta ever could since my clowns decided to host.

there are many people with clowns hosting nems and the relationship is perceived as a happy/ healthy one

the individuals concerned are without doubt the best judges of their own particular situations and there are as stated many, many success stories

clowns trying to acclimatise themselves to the stinging cells of a nem, often look badly beat up as they build up their immunity, but once they have done so, they regain their original health , (both in my experience and based on the experience and observations of others)

congrats on having a happy nem and clown fish

Thx, I'm very happy it went so well. My clowns showed no sigh of being beat up, they went right in like they were already acclimated to the bta. and the bta is more full looking since this happened. Waves around more in the water , I swear looks happy. Glad to hear that it can be a good relationship for both fish and nem
