Jumping Flame Wrasse - oh my!

Wow, so I was going to say exactly what m2434 said, but I see that's been covered. I've never had a problem with this myself, but maybe now I'll cross my fingers?

i have that same set up for my tank cover. got the frame from lowes. thought the fish were safe. never thought a fish could jump threw it, figured it was heavy enough.

 

WOW that's crazy. I have mine on a frame plus my light fixture it over it so it can only go so high. Thank goodness you were there! That is one crazy little dude!!!

 

I know!!! I can't believe he was able to lift the lid and fly through. I'm still in shock!

I duct taped the lid over night...I'll have to figure something out today. I don't have any time to go shopping, but I have some extra bathroom tile in the garage I could smash up and apply to the lid. Hope that works!!

And I think once I get the evil fish out, his name is Sin, how appropriate, then everything will calm back down.
