Wow John. Every time you link pics of that planted tank it looks better and better. I couldn't think it could get any better from the previous shots and it did. Well done Sir.

You got that staurogyne repens from Barr didnt you? Lol. I got mine from him too. A little word of advise, If you plant one stem, there will be 3-4 more stalks coming off of that single plant so dont plant them too close together at first like I did. I just recently pulled a few up so they arent competing for space. Stuff grows like weeks in my tank and actually gets about 6 inches tall. Needs to be trimmed if it gets that tall though cause it will loose leaves close to the base of the plant (similar to how ludwigia peruensis will drop leaves for more roots)

You're right I did. Thanks for the head's up. It looks as though I will be moving plants when the time comes since I planted them like you did.

Also, once this stuff take root it is very difficult to pull up without breaking its extremely extensive root system. I have pulled up roots that have a 6 inch long tap with sever dozen side roots as well. But it may not be a problem depending on what type of substrate you use. I would think gravel or flourite they would pull up rather easily. I happen to have a deep bed of ADA aquasoil and it's as thick as mud once it settles in. Damn overpriced soil clouds up the water for days after you re-plant too. lol. But hey, stuff grows like weeds.

BTW your pics are really great quality.

Thanks on the pics and the plant. I have Aquarium Plants.com's substrate sort of like flourite but doesn't break down as quickly. I have had this stuff for over 3.5 years.
