Thanks, I think I will get everything switched over Memorial day weekend.

 

I got a couple of more tasks completed on the tank today. I installed magnetic catches for the doors and made a stand from egg crate for the skimmer.

 

Canopy built

I completed putting the canopy together this evening. I need to make a couple of slots so the returns can get through then I will start making like Picasso.

 

Canopy looks nice. 3/4" ply though? That's going to be heavy.

 

It is only about 1/2 sheet and I am a muscle headed idiot.

One idea, if you haven't already done anything as far as a sump, is do what 2in10 said but turn that center wall/brace sideways, cut it to fit and make it into a shelf. Then you still have your storage.

 

Nice. That's not as bad.

I also have a question on your over flow. I don't see an overflow box. Is this just gravity fed? I am not sure on how to do my inlet to go down to my sump.
