A couple weeks ago I got the frogspawn on the left side of the tank. Within a couple of days I lost the hitchhiker gorgonian on my avatar coral, my large whip gorgonian, the Daisy polyps on the avatar coral, a small frag of Cloves and developed the bald spot on the GSP rock. I think part of the problem may have been I had not changed my carbon for three weeks and did not hav Purigen in the system either.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Very nice John.

That is a fairly large staghorn frag.

It would be nice if Santa would bring us a frag rack for xmas right? A really cool one like Steves with the magnets.:)

Thanks, the coral is an Acropora formosa. Definitely Santa could do that.

Thanks Steve, I know losses are part of the hobby but it doesn't lessen the blow specially when you know could have prevented it. Good news is I am running Purigen again and I have manually removed the algae that was growing everywhere. A couple of days after I had finished removing the algae the colors started getting much more intense.

You just have great timing of posting when I just happen to be looking at tank threads. I follow very sporadically.
