Jersey's 28 Gallon Bowfront Setup w/ some issues!

Here is my 28 gallon "euro" bowfront. Im running an Eshopps pf-300 overflow with an Eshopps RS-75 Sump. It is extremely loud at the moment lol. Tank was originally running an Aquaclear 70 HOB filter for about a month before i got the sump running. I still dont have any lovestock just about 30 pounds of Bulk Reef Supply Eco Rox and a few peices of live i got to seed it.









Current Issues with the tank are:

Overflow box is extremely loud at times. Sounds like a flushing toilet. Water going into the sump is also extremely loud. The bulkhead on the overflow may be leaking a bit. Im also having tempature issues. I woke up today and the tank was 76.5 Degrees!

 

i have my return line that goes into my sump reaching the water. so there is no splash. when i ran a sock it did the same but inside the sock. just cut that tab off that spans the sock.

the toilet flushing can be fixed in different ways check out tube ...but an easy way is this its what i did and it works well ....quieting overflow box.mpg - YouTube

this looks like it would work well to Gurgle Buster - YouTube the gurgle buster i have not tried. my over flow is in a tight spot and kind of concealed and leaves little room to add to it.
