Just bought one for my 40 Breeder. Its nice, has a ton of flow. I actually shot some water out of my tank....

Anyone using any, if so what setting are you running yours at? please include tank size and any other pumps running with it.

 

I have two in a 5 foot 100G and have one set on S2 and the other S3. If I run them on S1 it blows my DSB around at the far end of the tank they are so powerful.

 

mine doesnt have an "S" setting. Its got H, W, and Else. Right now im running else, luckily it isnt messing with the sand too much. Is S a wave, or is it constant?

 

The newest version 1F controllers have three speed settings, S1 thru 3 which gives it 100%, 75% and 50% speed in the W-1 mode. I think you can order the updated controller through Fish Street for not much $$ if you have the older style which it sounds like you do.

 

Duh, I'm an idiot. Mine does have the s. I was just looking at it wrong. I can only run the w1 mode on s2 otherwise the save gets too high

I have 1 wp25 in my 46 bow front. I alternate between W1 mode and Else mode. Working great so far.

 

Have one wp-25 in my 40b also.Had a evo750 on the other side pushing against the wp-25 set on w1 but removed it.I like the wp-25 on else mode with no other powerheads.Mine is a mixed reef with just a few sps frags,the rest lps and softies.

 

nice, i have a vortech mp10 on the other side. there is a lot of flow going on in my tank right now
