    Hi all

My JBJ 28 Gal Intermediate LED NanoCube should be arriving today- I am upgrading my 9 gal.

I just have a few questions specific to this tank- I hope someone can answer!

    • The refuge compartments in the back.. is it well lit so I can add chaetos or other macros?

    • When it says 28 gals, does it INCLUDE the compartments in the back, or is it the main display section that's 28 gal?

    • Can I grow all types of corals with the LED Intermediate lighting- or am I restricted? I'd like to try my hand at hard corals.
    Daylight 25 x 1W / 14K / 350mA / 50,000 hours
    Moon 4 x 0.5W / 456nm / 60mA / 50,000 hours

    • Any advice you can offer regarding this tank?
I've gotten a heater, and 2 nano powerheads to add to the tank as well.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Hey Draco have you checked out this thread?

    http://www.3reef.com/threads/jbj-28-gallon-owners-thread.103983/

Twenty eight gallons is the total volume for the tank yes. I do not think you can supply enough light for chaeto via main hood lighting but I had the metal halide lighting.

So exciting getting your new tank in mail.
