    ive just added the live rock and sand to my tank.most of the sand has cleared.shall i wait till tonight to turn everything back on.the only thing i have left on is the heater.[​IMG]
    please tell me what you think of my setup.

    That looks really good! You may want to slide that far left rock to the right though. It doesn't look like there will be much room to clean the glass beside it.

    Looking good! I am excited for you! I love watching others getting started. I think you said you would get more rock later so you have a good base now and I like the caves and openness of the rock set up. I did notice that you have both power heads facing to the back. I would have one facing toward the front glass middle. Many (myself) included have both facing the front glass, one directly aimed at the middle and the other one slightly higher or lower to create a good turbulent current, then if you can afford it, use another one placed on the right side aimed to shoot across the back glass. Just a suggestion, it's your tank, have fun experimenting.....Have you added any live bacteria?

    If you added live sand, you should have bacteria already i would think?

    yeah i would move the left rock getter the water moving down there and you can clean the glass

    oh yeah duh! lol yeah added 40lbs of lcoral reef live sand and 20lbs of cured premium live rock.
