hello i have a 14 gallon fowlr tank that has been running for about two years now. i am thinking about upgrading to a twenty gallon. my question is that is it possible to use the same water that is currently in the 14 gallon so that i can avoid ccycling the new tank. thanks

I know you can use the same water but that won't cycle your tank, you will need the substrate and LR to cycle your tank.

You can use the same water but it won't do anything. As mentioned, it is the live rock and sand that hold the beneficial bacteria you want to help with the cycle in the new tank.
