is this normal?

check out the ID thread I posted on it I posted better pics of him. I know the LFS will tell you anything you wanna hear haha , it was the fact they had a book that I read through because I asked! Me and another guy in the shop were discussing weather or not it would munch on corailline too.. If its not reef safe I will put him in the sump until I can find him a new home.

 

I will look and see if I can find him for you until someone else chimes in. As Corrailine says I try to steer clear of starfish although I did have a brittle star before and he was really cool.No Cheryl it wasn't a reef tank.lol Is he bumpy?

 

thanks I posted better pics of him on the ID thread, The whole reason I got into this hobby was because I love starfish, hence my name lol, I will do anything to keep this little guy alive and healthy.. Brittle stars are evilll lol good thing it wasn't a reef tank hopefully someone can ID him

 

Bristle stars are fine iMO as are chocolate and a few others, but by and far most starfish do not last long term. I loved my Red Formia and had them until I took the tank down, but I have sworn off starfish. I will check out the ID thread.

 

so sad... I love starfish, maybe I will just get one tattooed so I can keep it forever I think vinny got it now were deciding what to feed him haha
