Found my yuma half removed from its plug. Not sure if its moving or somehow torn from plug.

I know sheooms can move but I've never had one do it before

Oh good. Never seen this happen before. I was just hoping it was moving after 2mnths rather than being ripped off the plug by a snail by accident

In my old reef everything stayed where it was.

Does it take long to move?

Luv my bicolour but he irritates my leather, love perching in it

I would rely on responses above because I'm far from knowing a lot about yumas other than admiring them. However, is there a possibility that something could be nipping at it?

Nothing was nipping it. It was on a plug and yesterday morning it was like this.
Its either moving on its own or possibly got torn from the plug, possibly while a snail was going by? My zoas were the same, all the sudden they were off the original plug. Its like the glue let go.

The actual mushrm is fully intact, its just flipped over from flow

i dont think a snail would be able to tear a yuma from its plug unless there is some predation going on. its probably trying to relocate but it can be a pain as it will probably settle in a place with low flow where you might not see it. iv had bad luck with yumas so hopefully someone with better experience will chim in

I had one mushroom in particular that kept reproducing-- by constantly moving and tearing off a piece of it's foot each time it did. :)

Mine is atill just handing there.
I'm starting to think the buggar isn't moving.

Shrooms are supposed to be easy, i had one shrivel up and then disappear, this one hanging from its plug, and another one thats shriveled. Its the oddest thing!

I cant ever ID the difference from ricordea yuma vs ricordea florida, so I'm not sure I can say what you have??? With that said, both are not your typical mushroom. There care requirements are a bit more sensitive.
