I just got this GARF bonsai, its super stressed out because it was accidently fragged, then moved to another tank, then to my tank, so the colors are practically gone. On top of that, I got glue on the coral's skin near the bottom. Will it survive all this and color up?

I wouldnt say its a goner just yet, if your parameters are in check and the lighting is right, it may bounce back, ive had a milli that went to the worst possible color and it just bounced back and is the darkest blue ive ever seen, give it some time, as far as the glue on the skin, it'll most likely die there, but it will encrust over the plug, ive accidently broke off peices off my tort when cleaning, and i just glued it to a seperate plug and they are now almost fully encrusting after about a month, best of luck keep us posted!

As long as polyps are showing, it's trying to survive.

I mean don't go throwing it out or anything lol... I've received free pieces of coral that were literally white as a bone - and had them totally bounce back and fully color up.

I think it's a goner and just so you don't have to go through the pain of watching it die, put it in a bag and send it to me ;D

Seriously, it's still got color, tissue isn't receding and the glue over the base only really affects the base. Give it time and in good conditions it will come back. I've had corals I thought for sure I'd killed come back.

Thanks everyone, unfortunately the tip of the top is bleaching, hopefully it will pull through though!
