    thats a good thing but IMO let it cure for a month or 2 then try and seed coraline, let it truly become live rock then seed it

    Coraline will grow on its own and pretty soon you will be sick of scraping it from the glass if your params are right, which is to say, decent lighting and good calc.

    No matter what you do though, it will take a couple months for your rock to mature and in 6 months should be covered in coraline.

    i just got back from my LFS i got a emerald crab, snail and a magnesium tester and my main tested at 400ppm lol, i had a feeling it would be low so i get a bottle of "marine concentrated magnesium" to treat it

    I like purple up. You still have to test your tank and make sure you are not over dosing your tank though.

    i always assumed that if cal and alk was good then the mag would be there to. if rawdog was only 400 ppm then i really need to test my mag, cause i barely have any coraline algae.my tank is 2 years old---DANG!

    upon reading the instruction for the mag it will take a few day of treatment to get it up to where i would like it so...... this will cont.....
