Is live rock spposed to be harry?

    Could be that. I know mine are young and I have been watching them grow. But their leaves are smooth and start off roundish and are pointy at the tips

    so i've found two thing so far that kind of look like what's been growing on my rock, it's hard to say because they are still so young right now but they look similar to either the Halimeda Tuna or more closely to the Red Mangrove Propagules the leaves look very very similar to the mangrove, just not as tall i guess and only two leaves

    I was going to say halimeda... i have this growing in my tank and has a similar description as to what you posted except mine has grown quite a bit longer.

    nope not that either *scratches head* i guess since it's a plant it's probably harmless, but it's just kind of annoying that it pops up everywhere lol i may as well have a planted saltwater tank :D

    My tank is only 20 gallons so if I have some algae I just wait till it gets really bad, take out all my rock and scrub it. you could maybe try cutting the lights for a few days??? :cheesy:
