Is live rock spposed to be harry?

    lol so this is an embaressing question so i put it over her as i am newbie :D. But my rocks are just covered in things. it's kind of annoying. I would take pics but my camera phone won't be able to zoom up to them. The only good thing that i see in these "hairs" is that it lets me know that flow is getting to the rock. And i also have a ton of green plant type things popping up everywhere.

    Thats not good, thats hair algea, whats ur parms like? Do you use tap water?

    I agree also. Hair algae takes time to come about with bad water parameters. Yeah, some pictures would help.

    I don't think it GHA because these are liitle whte things that have been on the rock since day one. And the green plants are seriously like plants. They have stems and two leavess. But I do have a very small amount of GHA and the other stuff is nothing like it. I really wish I had my laptop right now so I could try to upload sone pics

    Lol I wish my camra phone could zoom in. I first thought I had a massive outbrake of aptasia *sp* but this stuff looks nothing like it

    Does it look similar to plant roots, only instead of growing down they're growing up and away from the rock?

    i don't even see the roots, just stems and leaves. and they've been pooping up everywhere

    No I meant the "Hairy" white things. Lol.
    The plants might be Calurpa (Sp) Let me see if I can find a pic of it.
