I have one of my Jets from sump, at the overflow where water shoots out, I have that placed little under water, so once in awhile it would make air bubbles from lack of water at the tip, but not always just depends on how water shakes at the top, not sure if you get what i mean

but anyway, I found this bubble blast effect quite nice and attractive, but is it okay for a reef tank with corals and fish?

it shouldn't bother the fish, but you probably don't want the bubbles collecting on corals for the most part... at least not any sps. If you have sponges, the bubbles can kill them.

It really depends on the size of the bubbles. The way you describe them, they're probably fairly large and not likely to create a microbubble problem in the tank. If you don't see a buildup of bubbles on stuff, you should be just fine.

Big or medium bubbles float to the top and leave the system quickly. They are only (minimally) dangerous to stuff directly in their path while they enter then leave the system. The tiny bubbles build up in your water. Over time, your water can start to look cloudy and everything can get covered in bubbles. These can harm sponges and corals.

If you don't see any air bubbles building up on stuff, chances are you're okay.

algae blooms are anoying but a function of diffrent cycles . i have noticed that

overly clean water can cause more harm then good i have noticed that as well i have had nitrates under 5 i noticed slow groth i seem to notice with them 10-20 thay do alot better but i only have 1 stony thay seem to be the most picky as we all know
