    He did appear to be eating after the blenny was gone and I was cleaning the tank. Hard to tell, the guy is so small. I have not seen him since then, so hope all is well and he is just chilling in the rocks.

    well all was lost as he somehow made it to my sump an died. I thought I was guarded against this, but he was so small. sad

    mine showed the same behaviors. when i added my ym goby he seemed overly stressed, swimming at the top and i was afraid he would jump. i have 80+lbs or lr in my 55, but he wouldnt take to a spot or relax. i placed a nearly flat piece of lr on the sand bad (kind of bowl shape) and it was made two burrows, one to survey the tank, and the other to survey me. when i enter the room, it will scoot along backwards and go back into its burrow. sometimes mine still enjoys to perch and swim along the top. i was worried about mine too. it also would perch on top of my powerhead at first which concerned me.
