    Hey all,

Just picked up a used 220g All Glass (Aqueon) which is about 7 to 8 years old. I want to understand if there is a need to re-seal the seams @ 10 year mark, or just do it before I begin anything? Or just get it on. Overall it looks great, frame has two center braces on the top & bottom, glass is about 3/8" thick or slightly thicker.
I'm an avid reader, this is my largest tank, prior was a 150g, but had to ditch it as it literally developed a leak the day I had our installer putting in hardwood floors. I'll be searching the forums for info, please suggest any key contributors for sump design and overflows. So excited! Thanks! joeyo

    Another late welcome :)

I'm sure some tank builder experts can help you, if they have not already.

Welcome. I'd reseal it while its dry that way there's no sleep lost when it's up and running especially with new wood floors:eek:. Nice score and looking forward to seeing it wet.
