Hello there, my name is Bob! I've never done salt water before, but I have had a myriad of pets ranging from birds to Chinchillas. I've wanted to set up a salt water tank before, but feared how difficult it can be until my girl friend pointed out this site. I've been doing a lot of reading and as of now the only part I really don't understand lighting and certain setups for sumps and refugiums. I acquired a 45 gallon tank from a VERY generous friend and am slowly acquiring parts to put the whole thing together. Looking forward to the whole hobby immensely and am glad there is a community of people out there willing to help even the most lost of individuals like myself! On a side note, I don't have pictures at the moment but once I acquire a digital camera I plan on taking a plethora of them.
