    Hello everyone,

Just wondering if any of you have used this product before from Instant Ocean? I was a little worried because I just noticed the ingredients and it contains copper sulfate as a trace element. I know copper is bad for a marine aquarium and I recently just started feeding mine about a week ago. Should I stop feeding them this and just get another brand or continue? So far I only have 2 frags of zoanthids, a colt, and a ricordea for corals, 2 cleaner shrimp, 1 purple tang, 2 clowns, and 1 firefish and all seem to be doing ok. I bought it locally from a LFS but I included a link so at least you can see. Aquarium Fish Foods: Ocean Nutrition Brine Shrimp Plus Frozen Food Let me know what you think. Thanks everybody...

    Hi praetorian
copper is contained as a trace element in natural sea water also

Im pretty confident that Ocean Nutrition would not produce anything that was detrimental to anything in our reef aquariums -without at least adding a warning such as
"not reef safe, suitable for use in Fish only aquariums"

I would also not worry about this, like mentioned above i doubt they would make something harmful with out a warning. There are a ton of foods out there any ways if your that worried just dont use it.

    Hi Steve and Ocean,

Thanks guys for the reply. I also called the LFS to verify and they said that it should be ok. Same food they use for their fish and reef aquariums and so far so good. So i'll keep using it and Thanks again.
