Installing my Glass Holes overflow

I am reading the papers that came with it, about how to install the overflow box.

Here's what the picture on the paper shows...


Here's what I have.



The bulkhead nut s too large(obviously) to put int he OF box. It would fit, if the baffle weren't there. Shouldn't the bulkhead nut already be in the box???

 

I put the hole stencil in there to represent the glass thickness.

 

Hrm....does the baffle slide/pop out?

 

The baffle cover pops out lol. It's tight but it does.

 

Jeeze. Feels like the acrylic is welded.

 

It's just very tight fitting. Need me to post pics of mine taken out?

 

haha. Maybe that's because I was pulling in the sides of the baffle instead of the top. : I've got it now.
