I have the opportunity to buy a euro rs135 for 125 bucks in good shape, with pump.
I have about 100 gallons total volume after rock, sand, displacement and sump. I have looked into it...seems like a good value, as these are around 300 bucks...I guess the two concerns I have is...quality and performance review from you, real people I trust....and the other is...is it TOO much skimmer for my system? ..and an after mention...is there such a thing as too much?
    Thanx folks.:)
..that new sump I'm building is just screaming for a nice skimmer.
    I currently have a cpr HOB hanging on my sump..it works..and that's all.:p

That's what I have. It is first class in every way, you will experience the wonderful details during it's operation. Go to ReefDynamics website and study the depth and flow specs for it. Pick yourself up 4 or 5 nylon impeller spacers and change once a year (they do go out of spec with wear.)

Make sure the motor is quite and produces foamate similar to german beer head. As far as tank size you are well within the manufactures spec.

The collection cup slides off the the tower flush. I've got a 90 All Glass tank and base and it fits perfect like it was meant to be.

The $100.00 price for used does not surprise me for there is a lot of confusion and contraptions on the market. They come and go but this skimmer will always be there for you.

    GOOD LUCK!

This guy really weirds me out. I have never used one myself buy I have read a couple thread comparing them to reef octopus. People seemed to like them and for 100 bucks you can't go wrong!
