    Cool.

It sure looks bigger than 55 gallons. I would be happy to have the fixture alone.

Looks like a pretty solid start. I like the plan of transfering everything and starting over from scratch. Make it the tank you want and not take over for someone else. Cant wait to see how things turn out.

Mp40 too much on a 55g? I have a chance to get one instead of 2 mp10s. Thoughts?

It won't be to much, but 2 10s will be better.

Well after looking around a bit, i found a different skimmer i would like to use. Hopefully going to get a Reef Octopus NWB-150. Also rated for a 150g so if i ever upgrade, ill be covered. I decided to wait to build my sump until i have the skimmer so i can make sure the skimmer will fit properly along with my DIY filter sock holder. I will be building the same sump I've built in the past, so i will have a fuge. Ive been looking at sps and thinking about trying SPS again. Need to do some reading about dosing kalkwasser, as this is what ive been debating on using if i do decide to go sps. Probably wont be sps dominant, but would like a few decent sized colonies. Its a slow process, but should be underway soon.

Hmmm while I have never used the Octopus skimmer I have always heard good things about it from other hobbyist.

Sps is always a slow process. Sps should stand for Slow Process Stony corals.

Just let the tank establish and try the easier ones first.

It'll probably be a while before i try sps, would like to get everything switched over, get the livestock i want, and have everything doing good first. Then might try sps, would also eventually like to get another anemone. All in time lol.
