Even without a tank I'd have kept the ro/di unit, just throw a di bypasss on that puppy & you have great tasting pure drinking water.

    Oh well live and learn.

Well I have a 4ft carbon bottle that I'll be using to filter the water use now. Hopefully that will do fine. I'm gonna order my glass pieces today to start in on my 29g sump build. Probably gonna use an SC Aquariums skimmer, one rated for 150g tank so that'll be overkill. Things starting to come together. Hopefully inside a month I'll have everything switched over to the new 55g.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    It's a start.

As long you do not try to over hall the entire tank at one time.

Starting with new bulbs would be my first step.

Clean one wall at a time. Go slow moving the rocks around. Looks like it has been set up for quite a while, lords knows what noxious hydrogen sulfide is hiding under the rocks and sand.

Well, I have another tank I was gonna transfer everything into. I also have new sand, maybe some more liverock too. I plan on changing the live stock up a bit too. I'm gonna build my sump this weekend.
