I have some basic tools for my tank that I use for coral propagation - two kinds of tweezers, scissors and various other dentistry tools. I also have some large singes, but cannot seem to find smaller ones (1ml total). My Red Sea Pro test kit has several 1ml syringes for measuring reagents.

Does anyone know where I can buy small medical syringes similar to these?

At my job, they are easy to come by.

Perhaps you could try a clinic, E.R., etc. Show them some pics and explain what it's for.

ALSO, you can buy syringes at a pharmacy I think.

Any frineds that are nurses, PA's, NP's, MD's?

I don't know anyone in the medial field. I'll try the pharmacy though.

    Thanks.

Pharmacy will work. You have to sign out sharps but it's not exactly a rigorous check. You may get hosed into buying about 25-30 though. Diabetics don't generally buy them in small quantity.

Free clinics will hand them out like candy. To prevent druggies from spreading stuff, But if you don't want to be seen at a free clinic and randomly accused of being some kind of addict. Then yes you can go to a pharmacy and tell them You need them for fish keeping and they might stare at you like your insane but most pharmacists will understand if you bother to explain what it's used for.

If you don't need something with a needle, you can go to most any big pharmacy and get the little syringes used to draw up baby meds for free. Some of them are 1ml, some up to five ml, but beggars can't be choosers. Hope that helps.
