In-tank surface skimmer?

Does anyone know of either a retail product or a DIY for a surface skimmer? I have a sumpless tank and have always pondered about doing something about the slight surface scum I have. It's never been an issue, but something I can tinker on.

aim your powerheads towards the surface! Do you have a skimmer?

 

This lil surface skimmer worked great on my tank. Hooked up to either an intake pimp or a HOB filter. Surface agitation only pushes it around. But doesn't remove it.

yes as posted above they do have one, it helps alot if your water develops a sort of film on it.

 

I had the same problem. Im running a canister filter and finnally broke down and picked up a reef octopus hob skimmer. It has the surface skimmer and this thing works like a boss...ive also got too many fish in a 40 gal tank..lol
