Well, I was just cleaning my sump and doing a water change and when I unplugged the pump and plugged it in again, it wasn't pumping. I have trouble shot it and I think the impeller may be broken. The magnet still spins and the actual motor runs, but no water is being pumped. Is there any quick fix to this? Can I just glue the plastic propeller to the top of the magnet? Any other advice?

You can try to crazy glue it, you're not going to damage anything. Order a new one and an extra one - its always a good idea to have spare parts.

usually one of the blades breaks and its a simple matter of cleaning out the broken plastic. You are left with reduced flow but at least its working while you order a new part. good luck

I am with CG on this one. They are cheap. For $35 or so, you can get another and then work on this one.

I just took mine apart and looked at it (my extra). Is the prop assembly separated from the magnet?

No, I heard kind of a click when I plugged it back in. I am going to the Thatfishplace tomorrow to pick one up. I have a heater and powerheads in the tank, so it should be fine.
