IMMORTAL jellyfish ! (NO KIDDING)

Have you guys ever heard of the Turritopsis Nutricula (aka Immortal Jellyfish)? It's this immortal jellyfish that can revert back to its polyp stage after sexual maturity, so, theoretically, they can live forever! The ONLY creature that's immortal! I was wondering if you can purchase one of these guys? And, if you can, where?

I've heard of these. They revert in times of food shortage to conserve energy. It isn't known how many times they can do this or if there are "half life" consequences. They're VERY cool although I doubt you can get one for a home aquarium but I could be wrong....

 

I've heard of this before.

The only problem is that given that it can revert to a polyp body layout, it doesn't change the cellular degradation that all cells will undergo over time. DNA will be modified, molecules will be changed and not repaired, and it will eventually catch up to anything living.
