I hope things work out for ya, I know how obsessive this hobby can be but I always put my son and wife first.(which is why I only have one tank..lol).

I'm sorry you hit a rough spot, I can sympathize there bud. I'm glad to hear that your girl came back, it shows that she cares and is willing to compromise. I think you are making a good decision by reducing the tanks you have running. You will enjoy seeing a reduced electric bill and a happier girlfriend. Best of luck to you, I'm sure everything will work out well.

The reduced electric bill will be a huge plus. Thanks dude. I'm sure everyhting will work out form here on out. Except for my dead/dying coral. I'm gonna attempt to get them back up to par but setting up a fagging tank in my back yard in full sunlight to see what happens. I hope the water doesn't get too heated though.

    Regards.;)

Be careful with natural sunlight too though, you may see a nuisance algae bloom.

I took that into consideration. So I'm planning on getting the clear plastic sheeting similar to what some green houses use so that I can minimize the heat and direct sunlight.

damn just read this mate. Don't stress too much, Trini women are more difficult to deal with than any other women, i'm getting married in November so i know how it is. Right this moment my fiance is sitting in front my tank admiring the green star polyps i got (Im trying to train her from early to love the hobby and include her in everything im doing with the tank). She cant wait to get some "nemos" and some "yellow and bright pink fishies" (grammas). But i agree sort out family life then jump into the hobby again.

If you need help with anything just send me a pm and ill help you out.

lol.... Yes they are indeed very difficult to deal with. I'm trying to get my girl involved with my tanks. She seems to like them but the only thing she doesn't like is the amount of time and money I spend behind them... I'm supposed to be getting in some stock next month. don't think I'll be getting any grammas but I'll definitely get some clowns and diadema psudochromis which are similar in colour to the royal gramma.
