I am thankful my wife loves the hobby. She wont do it herself, but at night sometimes, we just sit o nthe couch and watch them swim around. It is relaxing for the both of us and reduces stress.

Sorry for both your losses man. But, don't give up yet.

Don't task today, what you'll regret tomorrow. Tomorrow you can change, yesterday you can't..

wow dude, sorry to hear all of that--I really cant add too much to what everyone else here has said, however I did notice your avatar says you are 20 yrs old! Damn your still young, I know this does not mean much to you now, but believe me you will look back on this and be glad you DID NOT THROW IN THE TOWEL!!! You will appreciate your living art all through your life, good and bad times will come and go. But your art will carry you through. And yes it is ART a combination of what YOU and GOD created together!!!!

    Hey guys,
Thank you all so much for the concern, words of wisdom, advise and clever jokes to ease the tension.
My girl came back home last night and helped me move all the half alive coral to a 55 I have. I don't think she that awful to kill my tank. She loves my tanks she just doesn't like the amount of time I spend on them. So I'm taking down a few but not all.
However, the 55gal has an undulate trigger in there that is very difficult to get out. So I hope he doesn't eat everything.
I'm taking down the breeding and selling set ups I have. It's too time consuming. I'm keeping the 55gal trigger and my display tank that died. I'll work on rectifying the problem and get it back up to par.
Thanks again for the support. You guys are the best;)

Hope you and your girl will be ok. I know this is a reef forum but there are definitely more things going on in life. I just started with mine and I tell myself to step back, sit with my honey and just relax. The tank will be ok without me hovering or watching or buying something else for a while.

I am surprised how nobody is giving her a chance. I wish I could tell you congrats on the new possible baby. You two have a lot of things to think about. Just remember if she is prego, then she is goin to expect a lot more attention. You can always do a fish tank, but this might be the last time you have to get it right with her. You might love your tanks more but dont tell her. Good luck and think things through before you react.

The art of compromise! It is much lacking(and needed) in today's society. I applaud your decision and give ya Karma!

Bob and Coldshot. k+ comin' your way too! Family is much more important than a fish tank!

That's super great news to hear! I hope you two can hash it out for the long term. She must dig ya if she came back. I've heard that once a woman packs up, most don't come back. I think you're making the right move in decreasing the amount of tanks in order to give your gal the proper attention she deserves.

    Best of luck!!
