    just star with a new set ut you will be find. you can use aberything you allrady have you can up grade or just by and acrylic tank, that will never hapend with and acrylic tank... i have 110 tank and is a sweet8) tank is 4' long by30'' tall by18'' wide you can use your stand with this tank but make sure it can handel the wait, 55 gal tank is 4' long by 12wide comperd to the 110 18'' wide, and is all sow taler... just be carfull,i love my 110 tank you will like yuors to ... and about your lost just think of it this way .... you are staring new so go wild!!!!! you can still use your sand and your rocks the cyclin proses is going to take a little longer but is wearth it ... if you think this is going to hapen again just by and acrylic tank now is your shanse !!!! good lock let us know what you deside wil will be here for sopert...

    there are companies that will custom make tanks to whatever diminsion you want.

    The only advice that I can give is, personally I did not like the taller tank. I had a 55g tall and it was a real PIA to clean. I was not tall enough to reach the bottom so I would have to get a step ladder to do any maintance.

    Plus depending on what type of coral you are going to have will be affected with the height of hte tank and the type of lights you have.

    But now is the time to get what you want.

    Ever since I read this (and I know my rock is on the bottom), everytime I hear a snail fall to the floor (nerites) I wake up terrified jumping up!!! I threw the first snail that did this out the back door for scaring me (sleepy over reaction). The second one I just reprimanded and put back in the tank. Hopefully, there won't be a third (there will be though, I know it)


    Ugh.

    OMG, I just checked this and I can't even imagine how much that'd suck. Sorry for the losses, hopefully once the shock wears off you can think about starting back up

    brings back memories of an old friends kid years ago throwin toys around and one hittin the front of tank and BOOM you know what happens next!!!! Man that came out quick lookin at the distance of debris on floor WOW !!!!! on to bigger and better
