Hubby and I finally made our final choice on where we will be and we are going back to Wisconsin! My last day is June 10th at work so I can start packing and cleaning the house. I will be arriving back home July 18th. =D After hubby gets out processed he will be driving there Sept 20th. I can't wait. ;D

You're better than me. The army gives us the option either way. I let them hire movers every time. While the claim process for anything broken is painful, I just find it way less headaches.

Same with the Air Force but since we are doing it in stages I would rather do it myself. The biggest thing that is giving me a headache is my tank. 1. Catch the fish especially the wrasse (ugggg). 2. What to transport them in.

I plan on stoping in Bismark, ND for the night so I need to make sure everything remains stable. ugggggg And I though transporting my cats was going to be a royal pain.

YAY WISCONSIN! (I'm a fellow Cheesehead native)

I'm actually seperating from the Air Force in September, but we're going to stay in CA for a few more years. We definitely plan on getting back to WI though!

    Good luck in your travels...

be glad you arent transporting them across borders. I think our cat cost like $300 each way to go to germany & back, and then like $200 each, and each way for the dog & the cat across canada when we went to & from alaska.

they cut our DIY move money down so much it isnt hardly worth it moneywise anymore. I mean its still good for peace of mind for your stuff but you dont bank like you used it.
