Glad to hear everything is better than expected. Sorry for the losses thou.

Just a thought. Have you thought about writing down instructions (if you havent already done so) and give to your mom. Just for things on how to mix water, do small WC's, syphon out the tank, do test, etc... That way when your back at school she might would know how to do a few of the simpler things while your gone. She would then be able to atleast take test and tell you what they are so you can walk her throu what to do over the phone. If you have already got that covered Ignore what I said.

I like the sixline, just make sure you have lots of pods for him to eat. Mine also will eat pellets. He darts out gets him a bite then back to the rocks. He does this the whole time I am feeding. Very cool little fish IMO

um well, my tank is fairly stablished.. but would a 29G be enough? pod wise?

any other fish that would look good in a 29? im kinda looking for active fish.

Hard to say. Can you get a flash light out a couple hrs after the lights go out and see them crawling all over the sand and in the rocks? As long as you have plenty of places for them to hide and multiply you should be alright? Do you have a fuge?

I have 2 little blue damsels that are pretty active....LOL the only thing they ever harass is my arm when I stick it in the tank. Other than that there are bassalets, anthias, chromis, dart fish, dottybacks....It really depends on what you like.

I also have a coral beauty that would be a good size for the 29. I havent seen it nipping at any corals yet so I am hoping he will be OK. is active but does hide out most of the time.

Here is a link to Nano fish from live aquaria that may help you decide.

i do not have a fuge. I am sure i have a lot of pods, but only what a 29G can offer..

idk, none of the fish in the list really interst me for some reason... maybe going to the store and seeing them in person might do the trick.
