    ok so.. i lost..

my firefish, female clownfish and my diamond goby.
1 coral ( forgot its name.)

the rest is ok.. stable.. not to good, not to bad..

    purple favia looks alright
    gonipora is doing well..
frogspawn is doing well but since i moved it around its receded..
    kenya tree is doing well
    anemone is surprisingly well
green favia is the same as i left it.
palys the same maybe some growth..
and green zoas... idk.. they look as if they were less than they were. its hard to tell.

tank looks good in general but there is a lot of ditrus build up on the rocks.
should i just use a turkey blaster and clean it all?

even if i provoque a "ditrus storm"??

ill post pictures in a second..::)

Good news that majority are OK Elweshomayor

If it where me, I would be tempted to syphon, through a filter sock or a filter pad in a net over a bucket, and then pour the water back
that way you dont blow the crud to places you cant reach

and you throw away or clean the filter medium

you can do this as many times as it takes to clean the tank without wasting any of your water

Sorry about your losses, but at least it wasn't as bad as you feared. What do you think happened?

Blow all the crap (literally, lol) off the rocks and siphon it out as best you can.

Well, better than expected right Wes? Chaulk it up for experience. Gexx just lost some stuff, but not everything and he's already on the rebound. We're doing something right, correct?

yeah.. it was a releaf to come home and see it wasnt all that bad... im still at a loss on what happened..

mom says the shrimp went first, and then the fish.. but the anemone is just fine.. and the male clown seems healthy as can be...

i cannot find the rest of the fish, dead or alive.. so im guessing the CUC and bristtle worms got them. I am doing a water change tomorrow.

i was wondering.. if it would be a good idea to get myself a replacement for my clownfish and maybe a 6line wrasse? or something..

its been a week since the deaths, and everything seems stable.. im testing right now and ammonia is at 0..
im about to test for the rest of the stuff.

Seems like if it was a water issue the nem would have died, ya know?! How strange. Maybe one day you'll figure it out!
