    go to a reputable LFS on restocking day.. I know when the LFS around me gets new stuff in and Im always one of the first in there picking through stuff..

    Locally. I'm sure there's plenty of people around Rochester willing to frag some nice corals. I'd buy a dendro for sure though.

    I would check craigslist as many are local huys with overgrown corals. I would then go to the better lfs in your area if more then one and see when shippment is in and try to hand pick then. I might do it in less then 500 incriments but still spending the full 500. Local reef clubs too althought I have seen many local to me with pests on them and did not care as they were looking to move frags.
