    I found this thing on the side of my 40% dead toadstool, which was a shock to me when I moved it. This invert has already purchased a ticket on the porcelain roller coaster. I just want to know what it is and should I look out for eggs and such.

    Sorry I can't help with the ID, but here's a bump for your thread.

    I will suggest fragging the remaining healthy tissue to save your toadstool.

    stomatella snail? If so it shouldn't cause harm to your coral.

    Yeah, I see a nudi-nom-nom-nom-branch. :D

    They are what they eat, and since this one looks like what it's on, I'd say you found your problem. Eggs should be on the now tissue-less parts of the coral or at it's base.
