    So are you saying yours does have a purple rim? The color will not determine the species(Or id if you are not really sure what it is to begin with) Potentially any coral species could be any combination of color. Judging by the color often throws people off.

    Rawdogz may be similar to ORAs, but with out the lineage it really wouldn't be right calling it "ORAs Purple Rim Confusa." If it does turn out to be M. confusa with a purple rim, then IMO the proper name for it would be "Rawdogs Purple Rim Montiopora cf. confusa"

    Yes I'm aware that he couldn't actually sell it as ORA PRC :p But do we have any other opinions? I'd like to get this solved!
