    You don't need to purchase them because they are very common hitchhikers and they reproduce rapidly. They will soon become part of the background texture of your tank.

    Nice your Scarlet Reef Crab has a feather in his hat! I have a feather duster on my rock just like that! Awesome!

    lol.. I have a rock called a "worm rock" that is covered to the point of looking solid red except for several christmas tree's popping out. Those are a type of feather duster. They come on Christmas tree worm rocks too. Harmless.

    you should have a Porites coral on that rock as well, i can't remember if those christmas tree worms can live without the coral...

    only problem you are going to have is that the crab will bash around the tank, the tube where the feather duster lives is made up of calcium and other things, this makes it very weak, i can see the ting snapping when the crab is walking about, but still it will do no harm and looks cool

    Look your crab thinks its a french maid w/a feather duster...lol...yup my guess is feather duster....thats my final awnser.......no deal.

    those are cool I have them all over my tank, some were on a LR that I bought and now they are everywhere.
