I got this from the Happy Coral browned out acro grab bag the other day. Was looking at it today and noticed some movement. The little guy looks like a pink ball with a "mouth" that opens and closes every 5 seconds or so. I'm assuming it's some kind of filter feeder, but I've never seen one before and perusing the usual resources didn't yield any information. I think it's soft, but I can't really tell since it's hard to get my finger in that nook between branches - I thought about poking it, but I don't really want to risk injuring it until I know if it's harmful or not. It doesn't seem to be bothering anything. Polyp extension seemed unaffected in that area (there's no PE in the picture because I moved the frag to get a better shot...it didn't like that).

And, while we're at it, any idea what species of acro? I'm not too familiar with them :-X

Well that's cool. I've never actually seen one in person until now. I suppose he can stay for now, since he doesn't seem to be causing any harm.

As for the acro, that looks pretty damn close.

    Thanks for the IDs!
