First off i have had alot of fish die recently? First my two scooter bleenys and now my angelfish. I am down to 2 clownfish, 1 damsel, 1 little yellow goby, 4 hermit crabs, 1 cleaner shrimp, and 1 small crab.

the noob at petworld said i was underfeeding. I was feeding about 1/4 of a cube a day. he told me to feed 2 cubes a day. I feed 1 cube and they couldnt eat it all in 3 minutes so i feed about 1/2 or under once a day. So my water checked out and i left

I went to a another petstore yesterday and my ammonia was off and nitrates were off. i did a 25% water change.

Now my fish all are covered in white dots and their eyes are blurries.

    WHAT GIVES?????

    Hello,
SOOO many questions, I have for you. :)

First, how old is your tank? How quickly did you add your fish?

Without more details, here is a guess about what happened.. The scooters starved to death.. Then ammonia kicked-in, and created a chemical mess in your tank. This gave way for ammonia or nitrite related deaths, followed by my ammonia and stress on the survivng livestock.. The stress allowed crypt to take control of your system.

**However, this is simply a theory. I don't know enough details abour your system to know for sure..***

Please read here for some info about crypt: http://www.3reef.com/forums/diseases/ultimate-saltwater-ich-crypt-info-post-66950.html

Oh, crap.... :( It's ok. All of us have made mitakes in this hobby. I what else is in the tank? Sand, rock, inverts (other than the crab)? How big is the tank? Did you pay attention to the cycle (to determine whether it finished or not)?

3 live rocks, their is sand on the bottom, 1 cleaner shrimp, and 1 little hard crab. I bought the already treated water from petworld, then had it tested so i started putting stuff in!! the tank is 20 gallons

Just because the water was "treated" doesn't really mean the tank is fish ready..it still has to go through the nitrogen cycle..how long was it between the time you added the live rock and the first fish?

man...well..lets see....i would say take your remaining fish back to the store for them to hold but because they have ich I don't know if they would take them..although since they sold you a tank and livestock on the same day they should have to..your tank needs to go through a solid cycle and with all that bioload that fast i'm not sure if it is done..

As for your ich..the only way to rid it from your tank is letting it go fishless for 8 weeks..

If you really want to keep the fish then please go get a QT (aka hospital) tank and treat accordingly. Please follow the link that I posted earlier to assist you in understaing (and treating) crypt. You have a very difficult battle ahead of you if you keep your fish because the new QT tank will have to cycle, too. Ammonia will build quickly with no nitrifying bacteria present, and large water changes will be necessary to maintain livable conditions for your fish... treatment in the diplay tank is not recommended because treatments will be absorbed by the sand, rock, and filter media. Then the treatement will leach into your water for a long time, and will probably kill many inverts that you try to keep.

My recommendation is the same as irr0001's.. See if you can return the fish and wait out the crypt in the DT.
