    Looks awesome Matt, thanks for sharing. What kind of clam is that, and does trying to look at stuff through the ripples get old?

    Thanks - the clam is a deresa. The ripples go away when I kill the sump pump. It does look really cool then - wish I had a feed button on it!

    ya, overhead-view are pretty cool. I dream of having one with a big enough sump or maybe a ozone generator (don't really know if that would do it, I don't know much about them) if that would work for air transfer so I could have a still surface, and a led strip set up that was water proof so that you would not have any light reflection but the lights would be skinny enough so they would not block the view. I don't really know if it could work, but it's a nice dream!

    I plan on keeping a lightly stocked tank with a relatively large sump so hopefully oxygen isn't an issue.
