I Thought My Tank Was Cracking....

Then I realized I have a Pistol Shrimp. I can't believe she can be THAT loud. I checked to make sure there wasn't a crack but everything seems to be intact... WOW is all I have to say about that. It looks like she has her burrow up kept in a comfy part of town. Gman was over there once but I'm not sure if he saw her GAHHH

i thought the EXACT same thing, and I actually forgot about my pistol shrimp, until I remembered I put him in there! haha

 

For a while I thought my puffer had found a way to squeeze betheen the thermoeter and the tanks...as he did between the old style glass heater and the tank , which made it come back down and hit the tank glass afterwards....that was before I could see where he was and when that happened...since it wasn't him or any of the fish I decided that my little ruger was indeed still alive and snapping

 

OMG too funny! I haven't seen her for awhile but her home is still up kept though. I STILL hear her and think its funny when I her SNAP SNAP and see a crab or a snail is too close to HER home LOL

 

Cool. I added some rock between where my pair had their lair and the rocks beside it so it's all connected so now the whole rock complex is theirs....keeps the sand on that side of the tank nice though.

 

I'm trying! LOL But she is in her home most of the time but I still hear her POP.

 

It's great isn't it? I thought the same thing the first time I heard mine.

 

OMG not until you realize its the shrimp LOL I got up FAST off the couch because I thought it was cracking.
