Well Reefdiver72 after my last run at it now for 20yrs non stop I'm about in the same mind set as you are.. I'm tired and maybe thinking about getting me a car to rebuild again ? I just sold my Old Cherry 64 S.S Impalla almost 3 yrs ago now , I was the second owner and it was a Cherry all matching Numbers and factory Air on a 409 C.I and munchie 4 speed all factory stock..I miss the old girl..And being a old gear head I think I'll do that this summer ? About fish tanked out between here at the job and home . I love building cars and engines Like the H.P of them old crates

I feel for you but on the other hand I don't blame anyone for not reefing. I loved my 55g but was tired of the maintenance, the worries, the problems, and the amount of time I had to waste working on the tank rather than enjoying it. Since I shut down the tank I have more time, less exhaustion, and less stress. My 20g is so easy to maintain that I actually get to enjoy watching all the livestock...now if only I could get rid of the damsel without destroying the tank!

I have also read about keeping leather corals with sps corals but have had no problems in my tank. But I religously change my carbon every month.

Am I the only one who caught this!

I am new to this site so I don't know about these things, but that reply sure sounds like something my wife, or should I say "better half" would say to me! :laughings

I have a driveway of my own :) But being up here I'd rent a working garage , I have to use a welder and lots of specialty tools and its not something I'd do in a Driveway :) a body off rebuild it not like changing oil LOL I think that's what she thinks I'm talking about.. Last one I did was a 65 GTO My 64 needed nothing I was the second owner. I got custody of it in 1970. My oldest son had just found a 64 impalla S.S 327/350 but right after he brought he found out his first child was on the way LOL I may adopt that car ? and drag it and all my tools up here ??
