Well, the reason no one is recommending one, is because in all honesty you are about maxed out with what you have ;) If you want to get rid of say the damsel, and trade it in for another small fish that would be fine. But with the two small fish in an 11 gallon, that's it. Any more and you are going to overstock your tank and have all sorts of problems, so just keep that in mind ;)

    thank you but
You would get a serious amount of gallons of water on the carpet with me in the tank

sounds like your using dry food? flake - these will be wild caught fish and they wont recognise it as a food stuff straight away, but will sample
when they eventually ingest the food, their systems will work out that its nutritionaly suitable and then they will devour them

in the mean time, light feeding once a day with various other food stuffs would be ideal

if you can get frozen foods like Mysis shrimp that is often a good start for new fish
its more like their natural diet in many cases

awww... just two fish forever? what about the added water volume from the sump? its a 10g tank and is about 95% full of water. wait a minute, will a coral add to the bioload too? im planning on getting a couple or more.

Add a 55g sump and I'd say you are good on that extra fish, lol.

What is your total water volume? Sounds like total volume is about 17 gallons?

I would push you towards only counting the volume in the display just in case... the sump might not always remain connected (for a host of unfortunate reasons)... but you could count the sump volume too.

    Then maybe three small fish.

But, in a tank that size, overfeeding will almost always cause you problems down the road. Overstocking will almost always cause you problems down the road. So overfeeding + overstocking.......

Just to give you a point of comparison. I have 2 clowns, 1 wrasse, 1 blenny. I feed them one small meal every 3 days. They are all fat and growing.

The fish you have... there is really no reason to feed once a day, let alone 2x a day IME.

Corals add no meaningful amount to the bio-load.

    Good luck.

Don't laugh but this weekend I actually saw this attempted. A guy here in town has a 12 in Soho Tang, and 8 in Unicorn Tang, and at least a dozen other 6"+ fish in a 150 :eek::eek:. That poor Soho looks like a dog turning around 3 times before he goes to bed.

All of the fish look healthy though and I didn't see any nipped fins:). To be fair, his 150 is plumbed in with his other tanks and he must have 600+ total gallons of volume in the system. My heart goes out to him. His 600 gal acrylic display tank blew out a seam a few weeks ago and he has actually done a marvelous job of keeping everything going under adverse circumstances.

Adding more water volume will help a little bit but just by diluting any of the bad stuff, you need more filtration (more live rock), if you threw a bunch more (fully cured/cycled) live rock in the sump another small and peaceful fish, like a clown goby or neon goby might be OK, you're going to start running into territory problems though I think if you add anything that gets too big I think.
