my tank only has 1 damsel (cycle fish) and an ocellaris (3 days in the tank now). i feed them twice a day but sometimes they ignore the food or they don't see it and it falls on the sand wasted. what kind of fish eats voraciously? im thinking of a goby for bottom feeder. what about a surface feeder?

Rather than getting a new fish you might want to just trying to feed them less. If you want to add another fish that is one thing, but adding one to eat left over food is a bad idea.

A watchman might be a good fit your your tank. It will eat food off the bottom and does not need a large tank.

+1 for a cleanup crew not another fish also feeding less is probably good too. Brittle/serpent stars are good and one should be enough for the tank I think if it's the 11g in your sig, nassarius snails will clean up leftover food too although not until night sometimes.

that's really funny steve! i could just put you into my tank right now. LOL
but i asked for a fish cause eventually i'd be adding more fish to my tank. its getting a bit boring now cause all i see is my clownfish who never tires of swimming aroun while my damsel's been in hiding since i moved the tank.
my clownfish becomes aware of food, tries to chew it but then spits it out too quickly. is that normal for a new fish or should I feed him different type of food? he's fairly small.
