I purchased 2 bangai Cards a few weeks ago and they are both already dead they would not eat anything I tried mysis and brine. They only kept to themselves in one spot in the tank I am not sure who was harrassing them because I have been working so much and not giving the reef that much attention. I doubt it was your sally in your case I have never even seen my sally munch on a dead fish. My large Arrow crab was last seen eating one of the bangai cards like a sandwich a $20 dollar sandwich that is.:-[

I'm sorry to hear about your fish! The sally light-foot crab can turn out to be a real Mr. Hyde when they get larger. They are way too fast and can catch a fish swimming, let alone a fish sleeping in a crevice. The only crab I keep in my tank is the emerald crab and maybe one or two small hermit crabs and even then I really don't trust them. My emerald crab is very, very small and as soon as he gets a little too big, I'd just return him to the ocean. I live in Jamaica which is an island in the Caribbean so thats pretty easy to do.

Sorry for your loss. BTW, if your planning on having a reef tank some day, I would recommend getting rid of the arrow crab, not reef safe. Luna
