i just noticed i have copper pipes

you know of any cheap booster pumps?
cause i know i dont have the 60-100 psi

 

you might not need one mine registers at roughly 55-60, I did have to attach a gate valve on the expellent line on the RO unit to get it up there though

 

Its cheaper to use a RO booster pump than to raise the pressure on the well system pressure switch.

I would not go cheap on a booster pump, there are some imported ones on the market but they don't compare to the industry standard AquaTec pumps. If your RO/DI is a 75 GPD or larger you will need the AquaTec 8800 pump which if you do a search you should be able to find lots of places.

Do you have a pressure gauge on your well pressure tank where you can see what you do have available before investing in a booster? I would do that first but as I say, most domestic pressure switches are set around 35 psi from the factory, I used to install them.

That is not a RO booster pump.

If you are going to add a drinking water kit then you will want the automated 8800 pump system which comes with a pressure switch and other parts so it will switch on and off automatically.

i mean i can stick with the 40 PSI i have now and then when i have the money to buy the booster i can right?
