I had a little white area so I took him out of the tank and with a razor cut into the good tissue and removed the bad but it seemed like it left tissue residue in the area. I put some superglue onto the area that was cut out. Was this a good idea or not? I got superglue once on the coral and new tissue grew over it in about a month. The first pic shows the white of the tissue and the 2nd pic sows the white where the glue is on. I never fragged a Monti so Im nervous that it wont make it now. First pic the lights were on and off in the 2nd pic

yeah..it is fine. the new growth will just cover the glue.

Keep an eye on the coral...from this picture there appears to be some more white patches on the back...but I have a feeling it is due to the lighting and it being against a rock or something before. Dont do anything to those yet...it is probably just glare from the camera.

You do think that in time the purple will grow and cover the white glue. Its ugly now. I hope I made the right decision in using the glue on the area.

It looks like you may have a case of the montie eating Nudi's You need a good large magnifiyng glass and look it over well Little white egg sacks and the monties are very very small when hatched newly out but they can get to about 1/16 of a in or a little larger . I hope I'm wrong :-/

I have had this coral for about 6 months. Would it take 6 months to see something? I just want the tissue to grow over the super glue now.
